About Bernadette Taggart
Bernadette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University. Bernadette has worked with children facing mental health and behavioral concerns, as well as veterans and first responders dealing with trauma, substance abuse, and legal issues, advocating for better community treatment options.
Using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Bernadette combines Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and Solution-Focused techniques. She specializes in anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, life transitions, stress, domestic violence, trauma, and supporting children with IEP and 504 plans. Bernadette’s goal is to create a supportive space where clients are empowered to achieve their goals and enrich their lives.
