988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988

  • The Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24/7 across the United States. Call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.

  • Veterans Crisis Line: Call 988 then press 1; text 838255; or chat online to connect with 24/7 support.

  • Disaster Distress Hotline: Call or text 1-800-985-5990.

    • This helpline provides immediate crisis counseling for people experiencing emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster. The helpline is free, multilingual, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

  • Florida Blue Center - Jacksonville River City Marketplace: (904) 394-2250

    • A location that offers a wide range of classes and services that change weekly. Check out their event calendar for member and non-member events. 

  • The Northeast Florida Area Health Education Center (NEFAHEC): (904) 482-0189

    • NEFAHEC works to improve the health and well-being of adults ages 60 and over. The evidence-based programs listed are offered at no charge.

  • National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging:
