About Lanitra Ferguson
Lanitra is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with experience supporting adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Clemson University, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies.
Starting her career on college campuses, Lanitra worked to foster inclusive communities and address systemic barriers. She uses a person-centered approach, incorporating strength-based, trauma-informed, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior, and expressive arts techniques.
Lanitra specializes in addiction, anxiety, depression, family conflict, self-identity, stress, trauma, and abuse. Her goal is to provide a brave space where clients can explore challenges, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with themselves while navigating their healing journey at their own pace.
